Questions
Do guests need to install an app?
No. Tapping the card (NFC) or scanning its QR code opens your page in the phone's browser, on iPhone and Android.
Can guests see where their order is?
Yes. After ordering they see it live: Received, Preparing, Ready. When the food is ready their phone shows a banner, buzzes and plays a sound.
Can someone order from outside the restaurant?
Not if you switch on “Orders only from table cards”. Every card has its own secret code, so only someone at that table can order, call a waiter or ask for the bill. Others can still see the menu.
Does it handle home delivery?
Yes. Your counter takes the order by phone: type the customer's number and their name and address fill in. The delivery fee and time come from the area, the closest free rider is suggested, and the customer gets a WhatsApp with the total and a tracking link.
Is there an app for riders?
Yes. The Tableapp Rider app is for Android and iPhone. Riders sign in with their PIN, go on duty, see the address and cash to collect, and mark orders picked up and delivered. You see riders on a live map.
How do Foodpanda orders work?
Your staff enter the Foodpanda order with its order number, and it goes to the kitchen screen with all your other orders. Foodpanda sales and commission show up separately in your reports. Only the owner, or a manager you allow, can cancel one.
How does inventory work?
Add your ingredients and a recipe for each dish once. Every dish sold takes its ingredients off stock, so you see plate cost, food cost % and what's running low. Record deliveries from suppliers, waste and stock counts, and the reports show where stock went missing.
What's in the WhatsApp report?
You choose: sales, cash and card, bills, orders, delivery and Foodpanda, food cost, gross profit, waste, running-low items, top dishes and more. Save up to three numbers, and send the day's report with one tap.
Does it do FBR invoicing?
Yes. Turn on FBR invoicing with your POS ID and every bill is reported to FBR. If FBR is down, bills keep working and are sent when it's back.
Do my staff need special devices?
No. Any phone or tablet with internet. Each person signs in with their own 4-digit PIN and you can switch anyone off at any time.
What if the kitchen loses internet?
The kitchen screen shows a warning and sounds an alarm. If it stays offline, online ordering pauses automatically and guests are asked to order with a waiter, so no order gets lost.
Can I start with just the menu?
Yes. Many restaurants start with the digital menu, Wi-Fi, payments and reviews, then switch on table ordering, delivery or inventory later.
Do the cards need batteries?
No. NFC cards have no battery and every card also has a QR code.
